Working with Robin was a pleasure. I was able to go to her when I wanted to address a problem of mine, but wasn't fully confident of which direction to go about it. Her wisdom, kindness, and care helped me work through some things that often sparked fear and discomfort in me. Robin is a gentle leader, who empowers you to be a leader yourself- a leader to your own life and desired destiny. Even when there's silence, you feel comfortable, seen, heard, held, and safe when working with Robin. She shared so much with me that still to this day I cherish and use in my everyday life. E.F.B.

We hired Robin to clear our offices.  Skeptical at first but we watched her move around and then directly to a stack of files. The hair stood up on my arms and this woosh of air hit. That pile was our most difficult client. Two days later the client called and the sale was finally complete. We are now believers. B.O.

Clearings

Clearings increase the flow of positive energy within a space by removing lingering and heavy energies.  You'll immediately feel a lift and a welcoming sense of clarity opens a door so you can move forward with your highest intentions.

For residential spaces Clearings are most often used when moving to a previously occupied home; you or a member of the family has been struggling with poor emotional or physical health, the death of a loved one, depression, discord; or there is just this feeling that something is - off.

Front and back yards, multi-unit hallways, porches, driveways, attics, and basements need just as much attention as interiors.  These are included in a Clearing and if necessary I will leave you a list of easy tasks.   Some Clearings are done in stages - this isn't a problem. The heaviest spaces are worked on first.

Clearings are also beneficial for offices and retail spaces, as well as selling real estate.  For businesses that require walk-in traffic, seasonal or annual Clearings have a huge impact.  Clients walk in, feel good, stay, and return.  Employers and employees report that after a clearing the work environment feels uplifted, communication is better, tasks have a focused connected flow, and the client base increases.

If necessary, remote/distance sessions are available, but typically, sessions are conducted in person.

Information on Feng Shui services is available after a clearing.

Fee structure: $95 per hour plus travel.

I can provide a quote after our initial phone consultation.

To schedule a phone consult please message me.

WAITING FOR THE WIND
A few springs ago while hanging laundry I was drawn to this spot. The wind had picked up and the sun moved in and out of the fringe tree; the air was electric. I waited, something was going to happen.  Then Maria appeared. Perfect alignment. The magic was set. This is how healing works - awareness and holding the light.

Individual Healing Sessions

  • Clear restrictions caused by stress

  • Release heavy, unwanted energies

  • Restore your body’s natural healing mechanism

  • Reduce pain

  • Restore balance and fluid range of motion

  • Remove old beliefs and baggage

Through light touch and drumming, my approach is to connect with a person's essential nature. Holding that truth without distraction provides a channel through which the being self-corrects.  The modalities I use are a combination of Cranial Sacral Therapy and ancient Andean healing practices of the Q’ero in the highlands of Peru.

Sessions are usually 1 hour. They can be remote (over the phone) or on my farm in eastern North Carolina. After the session, we'll spend some time understanding what the session yielded to help you move forward in a new light. This open communication also helps ground you before going back into the world.

Fee structure: $95 1-hour on the farm or remote (by phone). 1-hour is the average time but I take as long as needed.

Please message me at (252) 588-2318 to schedule a session.

Healer's Cabin & Trading Post

Coming soon! We found another late 1800 log cabin and are in the process of reconstructing it. This authentic cabin will be available for overnight stays for those seeking "authenticity," not glamping. There will be a wood stove for heating and cooking, a wash basin, and lanterns. An outhouse, water pump, and fire pit will be ready with cast iron cookware.

The Trading Post will have wood carvings by Len Skinner

Native-made items, healing herbs grown on the farm, crafts, antiques, medicinal bedding plants, and seeds.

And upon popular request, a Trading Rendevous isn't out of the question!

Workshops Starting In 2025

Robin Payton Payne

Born in South Dakota, with growing up years in Southern Maryland tobacco country along the Patuxent River, I spent most of my time in the woods. My earliest job was antique refinishing, floral design, and staging which quickly turned to Clearing services for residential spaces.

My college years were 1980-1984, during which time I received a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design with a minor in Historic Preservation. The space planning classes absorbed me. They were foundational, and forty years later, the principles still apply to almost every aspect of my life. After college, I continued with Clearing and Staging services but with a heavy dose of custom residential interiors in McLean, Virginia.

If I had to choose a word or phrase to describe my many paths and how I arrived at this career, it would be “placement.” I intuitively seek alignment for the movement of positive energy within a space or a group of people.

In 1993, after seeing clients respond positively to "placement," I began training for Cranial Sacral Therapy (CST) in Washington, D.C., to better understand the movement of the healing energy within.  This was the AHA moment for me, and the comfort I felt in exploring Indigenous healing modalities over the years began to take shape. In particular, I am drawn to the Aboriginal and Siberian beliefs.  My first remote healing request was in the early 1990's for a young girl in Portugal - I was shocked to be asked but still, that moment helped shape my path.

In 2016, I had the opportunity to begin immersing myself in the ancient spiritual Q'ero tradition of the Andes.  Trainings were under Chris Krohn, Don Oscar Miro-Quesada, Joan Wilcox, and Jose Luis Herrera.

A love for living the old ways runs in the family, and if I wanted to be true to myself, I had to leave the suburbs of Virginia. So, in 2003, we left for North Carolina to experience island living on the Coast. A wonderful experience, but I needed open spaces with trees and dirt.  In 2006, I found it in eastern North Carolina.  An empty 4-room, Carolina farmhouse with no running water, insulation, or neighbors. I got out of my car this late October afternoon, and the moment I stepped into the yard, the scent of pine and broom hit me.  I "heard" my mother's favorite poem, "Fairy Bread," by Robert Louis Stevenson, and smelled the South Dakota pine.  Perfect. No turning back.
